Cancellation Policy
At Aloha Travel, we understand that travel plans can change. Please review our refund and cancellation terms carefully.
1. Standard Deduction for All Payments
Once your booking is confirmed, 17% TGST (Tourist Goods and Services Tax) is deducted by Maldivian tax regulations. This amount is non-refundable from the moment payment is made.
2. Cancellation Timelines & Refunds
Cancellation received What you get back
60+ days before travel Refund of total paid, minus (17% TGST + 5% admin fee)
30–15 days before travel Refund of total paid, minus (17% TGST + 50% of remaining balance)
Less than 15 days before travel No refund
3. Examples to clarify
- Cancel 70 days ahead → You lose only TGST + 5%.
- Cancel 20 days ahead → You lose TGST + half the booking value.
- Cancel 10 days ahead → No money back.
4. Important Notes
- Cancellation date = when we receive your written request (email or portal message).
- Any bank or payment gateway fees are non-refundable.
- We strongly recommend travel insurance to cover unexpected cancellations.
